Jocelyn is a self-taught special effects make-up artist & body painter. Her work is rooted in conceptual themes of darkness and is highly influenced by her own poetry. Her still images have appeared at the "Awakening" Exhibit at the Fish Cake Gallery in Hawai'i (2017), in Grace Taylor's book "Full Broken Bloom" (2017), D. Keali’i MacKenzie’s book “From Hunger to Prayer” (2018), in Rosanna Raymond's studio at the Corban Estate Art Centre in Aotearoa (2017), Kim Coco Iwamoto’s Pop Up Exhibit at Box Jelly in Honolulu, “Also Here” Pride Honolulu Exhibit at the ARTS at Mark’s Garage (2018), and Hawaii Institute for Marine Biology’s “SymbioSEAS” exhibit at the ARTS at Mark’s Garage (2019). She has done work with director, Justyn Ah Chong for the short film, "Down On The Sidewalk In Waikiki" (2017). And most noteable her live performance make-up has been featured in the collaborative show "She Who Dies To Live" for the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center Culture Lab 'Ae Kai in Honolulu, Hawai'i & The Asian Pacific Triennial in Brisbane, Australia in March 2019.
